What they offer
All NCC Approved Workshops agree to comply with
a code of practice. This means that all of them promise to:
• Offer to collect and deliver your motorhome
if required (at a cost)
• Provide, on request, a written estimate if servicing or repair work is likely to exceed £150, setting out all foreseeable costs including parts, labour, sundries and VAT
• Provide you with the Approved Workshop Scheme's annual service schedule, on request
• Clearly display a menu of prices and labour rates
• Provide a realistic estimate of the time required for the service or repair
• Have adequate insurance to cover your property while it is on their premises
• Notify you of any unforeseen delays as soon
as possible and provide a new, estimated completion time
• Not to begin any work without your authority
• Not to begin any additional work without
your authority
• Write to you to draw your attention to any faults they discover, and discuss the urgency
of any repairs.
